Clubs and pale people

Diary-

I woke up late this morning. It might have something to do with the fact that I stayed up until two in the morning partying with Kai, but who knows. When I looked outside, I was startled to see an enormous crane right next to my apartment.

No wonder I got this high-rise so cheap. God, I’m such a blonde sometimes. No pun intended.

I grabbed a quick piece of bread and slathered on some jam. It wasn’t the meal of champions, but it would keep me satisfied for now. By the time I finished, I was wreaking up a storm, so I took a quick shower, threw my clothes on and ran outside. It was 5 already and I still needed to get my new wardrobe.

Oh, I didn’t tell you? I came from a small town in England, so my clothes are a bit too… “formal” for Bridgeport. At least, as far as I’m concerned.

At the stylist’s, I changed into all my outfits, inspecting them from every angle, trying to decide what would look best on my body.

As I walked out of the elevator and into the club, I knew I had made the right decision.

Becoming Kai’s friend had boosted me to a One Star Celebrity, so when I asked the bouncer to let me in, he actually allowed me!

As I got inside, I called Kai to invite him to come. But suddenly, that creepy feeling came over me again. Like I was prey. I noticed a strange looking woman standing behind me. Not ugly, just… strange.

I walked over and started talking to her, determined to get to the bottom of this feeling. As I shook her hand, I felt like my body temperature decreased a couple degrees.

She and I talked for a while until Kai showed up, and I tried to decipher exactly what was up with these pale people, but she let forth no clues. We gabbed until Kai came in, then I just kind of hung out all night.

Until later. I heard some little beeper go off in the lady’s(sorry I forgot her name!) purse. She looked at it and cried “Oh crap! Work!” Then took off like a flash.

Literally.

I now know what these “people” are.

Vampires.

And I have to be one.

But what should it be, Diary? Kai or vampiracy? I know I can’t have both. That would be selfish… right?

I’m going to bed, Diary. Perhaps that will help me sort things out.

My first day in Bridgeport

Diary-

My name is Lacie Peterson and I have just moved to Bridgeport.

People have told me that I have great musical talent, but I have not played an instrument in a long while, so I have no skill. I have also been informed that I am a fantastic artist.  I don’t see it anymore. I am also very shy, clumsy, and a self-admitted hopeless romantic.

Upon arrival in my new high-rise, I pulled my old bass out. I hadn’t touched it in so long, it felt unfamiliar. Almost alien. But I strummed along, determined to relearn how to play.

Some strangers from a near-by apartment came over to welcome me to the neighborhood. I felt a bit awkward as I knew none of them, but then a strange sensation came over me- like I was being hunted. I noticed the man next to me smirking at me with a disturbing look on his face.

I quickly made my way out of there into the living room. I was really freaking out.

I shuffled everyone out of my house at four, because I had heard on the grapevine about a club called Plasma 501. It was supposed to be a hot-spot tonight.

The bouncer at the front door was pretty scary looking though.

I begged him to let me in, but he just kept refusing.

He finally said I could go in- if I showed a little dough. I pulled out a hundred Simoleons, ready to give him 30, but he snatched them all from me.

It was actually pretty drab in there. No one came, so I now knew not to trust the rumor train on important matters like hot-spots. However, I did meet an incredibly cute guy. His name was Kai Leiko. (I think that’s how you spell it.)

We talked all night until we were gabbing like we had known each other our entire lives. However, the bar closed around two in the morning, so I thanked him for an incredible night with a tight hug. It lingered longer than a regular hug, I felt…

I waltzed away with a very pleased look on my face.

When I got home, I put that day’s success into a small tune on my bass. It felt wonderful to get my feelings out.

I am going to bed now, Diary. Good night xoxo
